Sony Ericsson has released the SDK ( Software Development Kit ) for the Xperia X1. The Cellphone uses Windows Mobile 6.1, which already allowed developers to create applications, but this SDK allows them to make them more feature-rich, by using the Touchscreen interface.

The Xperia X1 SDK is free for download, so anyone that has the knowledge can create applications. “The Xperia X1 will offer the richest mobile user experience, putting the world at the fingertips of the user,” says Sony Ericsson.

Would you like to have an iPhone 3G like nobody has? Well, I know you do and the first who thought to make an unique iPhone are the guys from Computer Choppers who designed the 24-karat gold iPhone 3G. The designers are claiming that this is “world’s first gold iPhone 3G” as we saw a lot of first-generation golden iPhones.

For the moment, there are no words about pricing or availability, but whoever will want to buy this, will buy it just to show off with it. Also, we didn’t find anything about the connectivity bugs as the guys from Computer Choppers just wanted to pimp the iPhone 3G.

Are you tired of how the iPhone 3G looks? Actually, are you tired of having a regular cellphone? I know you are and the team from KDDI AU know that too. The AU Design Project have unveiled a concept cellphone which is destined to become the perfect music phone in the future.

You could say that the KDDI concept cellphone was inspired by the Transformers as from a cellphone it can turn into a musical box with a great speaker system which also features a cool equalizer on each side. Although this is only a concept, I am very confident that we will see this on the market in a few years and I can’t wait to have one.

After all these rumors, now it’s official that the HTC Dream will be launched as a T-Mobile spokesman announced that the first Google phone based on the Android software will enter on the US market just days before Christmas, although it could be available sometime October.

Now, I am happy to call the HTC Dream as a potential iPhone killer - 3G, touchscreen, sliding full five-row keyboard among other features. We can’t wait for the HTC G1 to become available and hopefully it won’t have any 3G connectivity issues like others.

I think I’m not venturing myself by saying that Nokia is the biggest and the best cellphones manufacturer in the world. You can call me a Nokia fan because I am and I own a N80, however, I would like to get my hands on a 8800 slider. Why? Because it has a longevity like no other as it’s on the market since the spring of 2005.

Nokia’s 8800 slider was improved during the years and on the market there are several versions available and the latest it’s called Carbon Arte. This carbon-based cellphone features 3G connectivity, a 3.2-megapixel camera, about 4GB of flash memory and it’s available for about $1,600 or €1,100 as it will be released in Europe first in the Q3 of this year.

Remember how I told you that I tend to trust rumors? Well, I do and I can say that I wasn’t wrong when I said that the HTC Dream aka G1 aka Android or Google phone will soon be available. Why am I so sure? Because the HTC Dream has been approved by FCC and it should be out sometime around September 17th for T-Mobile customers.

I remind you that the HTC G1 will feature a 5-inch long and 3-inch wide touchscreen, 3G support, 3-megapixel camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 and EDR compatible. The HTC Dream will be released by T-Mobile therefore the users will be able to access the App Store that T-Mobile will launch soon. Yeah, I know - it kind of resembles Apple’s App Store but that’s life, it’s an application store so what would you call it?

Other features include the possibility of connecting to T-Mobile’s Hotspot @Home service and that if you want to use the e-mail you have to use Gmail from Google as for the moment we don’t know if it will support Microsoft Exchange.

I don’t want to rush myself like others and dub the HTC Dream as the iPhone killer because Google’s G1 is not out yet and we don’t know too much about it. Although the T-Mobile customers will get it sooner, it seems like the HTC G1 will be available for open public in November for a price of around $400.

I don’t know what to say, but I tend to believe that most of the rumors will become a reality and I think that the rumor of an Android phone is true. It seems like HTC and T-Mobile are preparing to launch the Android on September 17th, this year. The Android phone is codenamed G1 and it will cost $150 for T-Mobile customers on presale which will last one week.

The HTC G1 will feature 3G connectivity, 3-megapixel camera, 5-inch long and 3-inch wide touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. Here is something interesting - the Android users will have to own a Gmail account in order to make the phone work.

The Android G1 aka HTC Dream will come in black, white and brown, however, the problem is that for public launch it will be available as of mid October at a price of $250 and could reach $400. Well, we will have to wait until September to see if it’s really coming and if could compete against the iPhone.

Samsung is wasting no time as they want to be in fashion and design green cellphones. At the Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung in Beijing they unveiled the new version of the E200 candybar and they called it E200 Eco. The 9.9mm handset is also very slim and it’s made of green materials like bio-plastic which consists of materials from plants like corn.

The environmentally-friendly materials were designed with the help of Cheil Industries and it seems like the one ton of bio-plastic reduces with 2.16 tons the CO2 emissions that were dispersed in the atmosphere during the manufacturing process.

The E200 Eco is not the only green cellphone as Samsung also launched the W510 and the F268 at OR@S, Beijing. Samsung announced that the E200 Eco will enter on the European market as of September, as for the US market and pricing, there are no words.

Well, the good news keep on coming as the HTC Touch Pro is now available in the UK at the official distributor Devicewire. The Euro version of the HTC Touch Pro is priced at £514.99 and it comes with a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, a 5-row QWERTY keyboard, built-in Wi-Fi and TV-out among others.

Also, the battery seems to be a little better than the one that the HTC Touch Diamond features and there is a microSD expansion slot. There aren’t many cellphones available so you better hurry up to get one, if you’re from the UK.

A few days ago we reported that Sony Ericsson might release James Bond’s Titanium Silver C902. However, they also announced that they will release the T700 and the C905. Today we will talk about the Sony Ericsson C905 because the cellphone is among the first to feature a 8-megapixel digital camera phone.

Despite the fact that it uses such a “big” camera, Sony Ericsson found enough room to make it as functional as a regular cellphone. Also, the C905 will feature a GPS which allows photo-geotagging, and just like the iPhone 3G it uses AGPS to determine the location with a higher accuracy.

Among its capabilities you will notice the Wi-Fi connectivity, the battery which lasts 380 hours in standby mode and about 9 hours of talk time, and the 160MB of internal memory and a 2GB memory card, but you can expanded it to an impressive 32GB.

No matter what you say, the Sony Ericsson C905 excels with the 8-megapixel camera which is a part of the Cybershot line as well as a part of the new S range that will replace the K range. Your built-in photo album will look great on the 2.4-inch screen with 256,000 colors.

The full list of specs can be found here and you should know that the C905 with its high-quality camera will be released on October 7 this year, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it on the market in the next few weeks.
