Medion has finally put on the marker the Akoya Mini laptop which was showcased previously at Computex. What I don’t understand is why they made it available in Austria at Hofer but this shouldn’t be a problem if you decide to visit Vienna this summer.

3K Computers announced that the previously $400 is not the same at their store, cutting $100 from the price tag, thus making it available for $299. Don’t worry, the new price is for the same features, like the 7 inch display, the 4Gb of internal flash or the 2 pounds weight.

Photos of Dell’s latest Eee PC, supposedly called ‘mini-Inspiron’, got leaked and we can already make some assumptions about its features. The 8.9 inches device comes with options of either Windows XP Home or Ubuntu Linux installed and the price will not be higher than $500.
