After so many rumors, predictions and debates, Apple has released the 3G iPhone. Yeah, you heard this right! It’s here and it comes with new edges, plastic back, iPhone 2.0 firmware and a SIM ejector in the box. According to Apple, the 3G on iPhone is 36% faster than Nokia’s N95 and the Treo 720.

The newly-released 3G iPhone manages 300 hours in standby, up to 10 hours in 2G talk, 5 hours in 3G talk, 7 hours of video and about one day of audio. Apple has provided their “jewel” with A-GPS which is better than regular GPS because it also uses information from cellular towers.

Apple will launch the 3G iPhone in 70 countries including France, Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US. For the US market it will be available as of 11th July and for the other countries over the next few months.

The 3G iPhone is available for pre-order now at Apple store for $199 for the 8GB and $299 for the 16GB (you can choose for white color for this version). So, what are you waiting for?

And we’re excited, why? My non-Apple phone has had 3G well over a year and does more than an iPhone running WM6. I can do Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have hundreds of free programs. I not an Apple slammer, as I have 2 Apple laptops, but come one, it’s not that big of a deal, especially with better phones than mine out there now. sorry, iPhone is old school.
