Quake III Arena on your phone

Posted on 28 November 2008

Do you remember the old times when you used to play Quake III with your folks on an ancient pc? Even if now the game is an oldie (almost 10 years passed since its launch) and for the young ones doesn’t represent something out of the ordinary, back then you could feel an enormous satisfaction playing this one. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but we could tell this game is a grandfather of the actual shooters.

If you feel like wanting to play it again and you don’t have enough time to stay on your pc and you are always on the run, now you’ll be able to play it on few Nokia mobile phones (the N95 8GB, E90 and N82). But now you can even take advantage of the phone server support and you can play with some friends a multiplayer battle. You can even play with a mouse and a keyboard installed trough your Bluetooth.

Although the effort for installing it on your mobile will be quite big you’ll certainly be happy to play it again. Unfortunately the maxim resolution is a bit low, just 240 x 320 pixels.
