Good news everyone! BlackBerry Bold was finally released by RIM. We were already expecting it for a while, but the Bold aka 9000 will be available for shipping starting this summer on AT&T 3G. This version will be much faster thanks to the 624MHz processor and the 3G networking.

Some of the cool features include a 480 x 320 display, 128MB flash memory and 1GB internal memory, 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, MicroSDHC and a 2-megapixel camera with flash. The Bold 9000 has a talk-time of 5 hours and 13 days if in standby, all of the above and much more for a price ranging between $300 and $500.

BlackBerry Bold measures 4.5 x 2.6 x 0.55 inches and it weighs 4.7 ounces, which makes it too big for most people, but for the fans of the BlackBerry smartphones this is just enough. We heard that the Bold will include CDMA/EV-DO in its options, but until the summer we will have to wait. One thing its for sure - it will handle handle 850/1900/2100Mhz for HSDPA/UMTS.

I guess I don’t have to say that the Bold will run on BlackBerry OS 4.6 and that will support MP3, WMA, AAC, DivX4 and WMV3. Also, I have to mention that the QWERTY keyboard is almost the same as it was on BlackBerry 8800, but now the rows are devised by some sexy curved barriers. The users will enjoy the new Roxio media platform which will allow them to operate easier music and video files. Well, I really have to say that BlackBerry Bold looks very promising and you should start raising some money if you want one.
