Samsung is wasting no time as they want to be in fashion and design green cellphones. At the Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung in Beijing they unveiled the new version of the E200 candybar and they called it E200 Eco. The 9.9mm handset is also very slim and it’s made of green materials like bio-plastic which consists of materials from plants like corn.
The environmentally-friendly materials were designed with the help of Cheil Industries and it seems like the one ton of bio-plastic reduces with 2.16 tons the CO2 emissions that were dispersed in the atmosphere during the manufacturing process.
The E200 Eco is not the only green cellphone as Samsung also launched the W510 and the F268 at OR@S, Beijing. Samsung announced that the E200 Eco will enter on the European market as of September, as for the US market and pricing, there are no words.
