Just when speculations appeared about a $1130 presumed price for Tegatech’s Gigabyte M528 MID, Gigabyte’s officials released a statement that the unit will have a price of only $750. However, this price will only include the hardware, and customers will have to make their choice about the SIM card and 3G data plans.
To make the device worth those $750, it will come packed with a 800Mhz Menlow processor, 8GB SSD and GPS. We should mention that this price is recommended for the Taiwan market, where it is supposed to be released for the first time in late July.
