iPhone Firmware Update 2.2 Beta 1 Out For Developers
Posted on 25 September 2008

Not too long after the 2.1 update, Apple has just released the iPhone firmware update 2.2 beta 1, but is only available for developers at the moment. Currently, there aren’t any details about it, but we expect to bring more improvements and bug fixes. Also some more GPS features would be great, but maybe we want too much, for the moment.

If iPhone 2.2 update doesn’t include:
1. Full flash support
2. MMS messaging
3. Copy/Paste
4. Video recording
5. Camera zoom
6. Landscape texting
7. Turn by turn GPS
Then i’m sellin my iphone on ebay and buying the Blackberry Storm(9500 cuz im on ATT and im not leavin). The BB Storm(9500) includes all of those features, plus it has an appstore too. The screen on the BB might be .5″ smaller but the resolution on it is better than the iphone which means better picture quality. The camera on the BB is also like 10x better than iphone’s, the BB has a 3.2MP camera with autofocus, autoflash, and face recognition.
