Apple Patent Application - Remote iTunes

Apple is working hard to please their customers by improving their services and their latest patent application is really great. The patent application would give iPhone and iPod touch users the possibility of streaming content from their iTunes (located at home) no matter where they are.

This means that the users will wirelessly sync content from the iTunes library and not only from their Mac or PC. Thanks to a new version of iTunes and of course, a new version of iPhone Software, you will only have to sync only the metadata from the iTunes library so that you can use on the road.

Apple were inspired by their own Apple TV and Airport Express features although those can be accessed only on local WiFi networks. For the moment there is nothing certain but we are expecting an announcement soon.
