It seems like nobody likes Microsoft anymore as after Yahoo’s refusal, Google will launch a new browser tomorrow as they are trying to get a piece of Microsoft’s pie in the browser market share. Google’s new browser is called Chrome and it will be launched in beta version for Windows in 100 countries, however, the Mac and Linux version will enter on the market soon after that.
And if this wasn’t enough, Google Blogoscoped unveiled a comic book which is destined to give users details about the Chrome open-source browser. Well, this puts end to a rumor that first appeared in 2004, but Google thinks that this is the perfect time for a launch because Microsoft is preparing to release new and improved features in Internet Explorer 8 that could strengthen Microsoft’s leader position in browser search business.
Until now, Google competed against Microsoft by supporting Mozilla Firefox, however, the 18% market share of the browser is not enough for Google and they are looking to overcome this share as well as Internet Explorer’s share. Let’s wait until tomorrow to see Google Chrome browser and we’ll tell you how good is it, also we are waiting for you to tell us what you think about it!
