XM Satellite Radio And Sirius Satellite Radio have completed merger and they have plans to change its name to Sirius XM Radio. After the merger, they now have over 18.5 million subscribers and expect to earn over $400 million in 2009, due to this deal.
The existing radios will continue to work and the subscribers will be able to choose which programs to receive.
Sirius XM Radio will still be led by Mel Karmazin.
