White Knight Two

Sir Richard Branson has just unveiled its new space rocket and is very close to accomplish his dream of operating a commercial spaceline, world’s first. He presented White Knight Two in the Mojave Desert and its first flight is expected to be in 2009.

White Knight Two is a mothership of a much smaller ship, that will sit on it until it’s projected in the sub-orbital space flight.

Sir Richard’s White Knight Two is the world’s largest ship made entirely of carbon composite, being very reliable and light weight.

The ship will sit in the Mojave Desert for testing until next year, when it will take its first passengers for a flight. Passengers have to pay $200,000 for a two and a half hours of flight, that include five minutes of weightlessness.

White Knight Two has been built by a joint venture between Scaled Composites group and Virgin, called the Spaceship Company.

The first spaceport will be opened in New Mexico, with Sweden, Spain and the Middle East Following. The flights will only be 2 to 3Gs, so everyone can go, including old people.

There are already 270 people signed up and many of them have already began training.

no doubt web designer of Dallas. It will be an awesome world when commercial space flight is common, and hopefully air travel overtakes land travel.

If the world’s around by then and we haven’t bombed or polluted it to death (or if we haven’t fallen into a world-wide depression extravaganza where the poor are so poor that they all die off and the rich have no one to work for them and they die off too).

Lol the same SIR Richard Branson that wanted to limit bandwidth to websites without ads on them, and effectivly killing the internet? Good thing the new internet technology (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/2822333.stm) will kill his little proposal. Hes an ass with too much money, that spends it on commercialized space travel, when humanity has much bigger problems to solve.

Fuck Richard Branson! Visionary my balls - Virgin has dirtied up it’s own image by being willing to turn the internet into a police state in Britain at the whim of the BPI. Seriously, a true visionary would move along with the people and put to death the now-obsolete business model of these copyright thugs. He’s just another rich fucking puppet.
