Sony has just released the PSP 5.01 firmware for download. The software update fixes the bug found in PSP firmware 5.0 with 8GB and 16GB Memory Stick Pro Duo cards, that didn’t work. Unfortunately, the 5.01 update doesn’t fix the interlacing lines on the PSP 3000 LCD, so we might probably have to wait more.

As you probably now, E3 has begun and already Sony has announced that they will cut down the price of the 80GB PS3 to about $400. This pricing will be available as of September and the 80GB PS3 “will have the current functionality” as the 40GB PS3 one.
