Here’s an interesting laptop, actually all Sony VAIO notebooks are really interesting and so is the Core 2 Duo 17″ Notebook with HDMI. This version of VAIO will be based on an Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor at 1.8 GHz, a 17-inch WXGA+ screen with a native resolution of 1440×900, a 1.3-megapixel Motion Eye camera, and a built-in camera.

Sone has released a teaser that confirms the release date for their Centrino 2 VAIO line. The new models will be outed on July 14th, at 9PM Eastern and should consume less power, along with an improved performance.
