U.S.-based digital marketing platform Constant Contact has agreed to acquire Vision6, an SMS and email marketing platform in Australia. Constant Contact is focused on delivering all-in-one marketing services for small businesses, while Vision6 provides marketing solutions, local customer support and data security for small businesses, government departments, nonprofits and marketing agencies.

The deal is expected to grow Constant Contact’s presence in Australia and offer Vision6 customers comprehensive digital marketing from Constant Contact.

Why we care. Marketing technology is transforming every industry, and raising expectations for consumers in their engagement with small businesses and nonprofits. To meet these demands, marketing solutions have to be one-stop and affordable, creating the need for many of the same marketing services found within enterprises that can be provided for smaller organizations in North America, Australia and everywhere in between.
