For Leo Villareal, the artist who installed 25,000 LEDs on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, and his spouse Yvonne power, cofounder of the art manufacturing Fund, their house turns into a gallery for Villareal’s own work and items from their chums, many of which might be loaned out for public exhibitions.
Cindy Sherman‘s numerous collection comprises works on both ends of the fame spectrum. “i try to enhance smaller galleries and young, lesser-identified artists,” she says within the book. “It’s about how I relate to myself as a young artist.”
