The wait for AMD’s Radeon RX 500 series cards seems to be finally over. There are reports that the forthcoming Radeon RX 580, RX 570, RX 560 and RX 550 cards are all set to officially launch next Tuesday, i.e. April 18, 2017.
The new GPUs are powered by the Polaris chip architecture and they will be aimed at diverse price points under the sub-$250 sect of the market.
Note that the info about the alleged Radeon RX 500 series release date comes from PowerColor who revealed it via their Twitter page. The tweet stated that the new Devil series RX 500 series graphics cards are slated to launch on April 18, thus virtually confirming that the Radeon RX 500 series is scheduled to arrive early next week.

Meanwhile, on a related development, the double dissipation models of XFX’s Radeon RX 580 and 570 series graphics card have been spotted online. Both these models come with a compact build and boast a sleek design layout.
XFX’s double dissipation model flaunts a notably longer cooler shroud that’s accompanied by two fans — both colored in red. At the heart of the card lies a single 8-Pin connector and a custom PCB, implying we can also expect a natively enforced OC.
The second model is the XFX black edition sporting a bulkier heatsink design. The card has several copper heatpipes spreading throughout the dense aluminum fin array. It is also powered by an 8-pin connector.
Note that both these cards feature a matte black backplate and come with HDMI, 3DP 1.4 and a DVI port.
