Ever since its release, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, a 2017 Indian historical fiction movie co-written and directed by S S Rajmouli, has been breaking records. Produced by Tollywood studio Arka Media Works, it’s the continuation of Baahubali: The Beginning and stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.
However, in what comes as a shocker to Bollywood film production community, the movie was reportedly leaked online. Those who searched for Bahubali 2 full movie online were greeted with a host of websites offering the full movie for online viewing. Even today, there are several websites that are offering viewers an option to watch Bahubali full movie online, but we must mention here that most of these websites are illegally hosting the movie and some of them aren’t even legitimate websites. You may end up downloading a virus instead. Moreover, the government is already taking strict action on movie piracy by putting a blanket ban on illegal websites hosting copyrighted content, including movies like Bahubali 2.
Baahubali 2: Hindi version beats Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan lifetime records
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has made a record of highest pre-release business with over INR 5 billion. After its worldwide release on April 28, 2017, Baahubail 2 has become the first Indian film to gross worldwide revenues of more than INR 5 billion in all languages in just three days! Baahubali 2 is also the highest grossing Indian movie ever, with over INR 9 billion worldwide gross in just 7 days, surpassing Aamir Khan starrer PK’s worldwide gross.
And if that’s not enough, the movie has broken lifetime records of Salman Khan’s Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Baahubali 2 has created history by becoming the first Indian movie to cross INR 1000 crore mark. The Hindi version of the movie has already earned INR 327 crores on its 10th day, well on its way to becoming the first Indian movie to cross INR 400 crore within two weeks of its release.
The movie has successfully surpassed Sultan’s lifetime record of Rs 300 crores and Bajrangi Bhaijan’s record of Rs 320 crores. It is also well ahead of PK (Rs. 340 crores) and Dangal (Rs. 386 crores).
“The #Baahubali2 wave remains SUPER-STRONG… Collects a MASSIVE ₹ 80.75 cr in Weekend 2, taking its 10-day total to ₹ 327.75 cr. HINDI”, Taran Adarsh, Trade analyst, tweeted.
In related news, it looks like Sridevi is now regretting not taking up the role of Queen Shivagami in Baahubali 2. Sridevi was initially offered the role of Shivagami. According to reports, Sridevi demanded too much money – a whopping 6 crores from the filmmakers. From what we know, Ramya Krishnan accepted the role for Rs 2.5 crores. So the filmmakers decided to cast Ramya instead. With powerful dialogues and intense gaze, Ramya has won a billion hearts. Had Sridevi accepted the offer, she would be getting all the attention from the blockbuster success of Baahubali 2.
