Bing Ads Offers Agencies A Chance To Win Trip, Xbox, Amazon Gift Card
Bing Ads on Wednesday introduced a sweepstakes that encourages agency reps to increase their participation in buying search media with Microsoft.
The sweepstakes for agency reps resembles the Bing Rewards program, which gives people searching on Bing the opportunity to earn points known as credits, which they can exchange for merchandise. For Microsoft, the goal is for agency reps to engage more with Bing Ads.
Beginning today, agencies can earn one entry in the Bing Ads sweepstakes with each Bing Ads Accredited Professional (BAAP) certification. Reps can achieve up to ten entries for new accounts added to their Bing Ads agency accounts and five entries for enrolling in the Bing Partner Program.
A registration page provides details on the official rules. Those who are already in the Bing Partner Program can earn five entries just by filling out the registration form. BAAP participants or those with a Bing Ads Academy account should log in to ensure the agency’s information is up to date.
The prizes include a possible trip to the Bing Partner Summit held in May at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington or the Bing Day Dublin, depending on the participating agency’s location.
Microsoft will give away two grand prizes that include round-trip coach airfare, three-night standard hotel accommodations, and transportation to and from the airport.
For agencies based in North America, two reps from the winning agency will attend the Bing Partner Summit in May 2019 at Microsoft headquarters. Agencies based on EMEA will have a chance to win a trip for two to Bing Day Dublin in April 2019.
The first prizes — one awarded per agency — include an Xbox One, one device awarded per agencies.
The second prize is a $250 Amazon gift card, awarded to five randomly drawn individuals across all regions.
The early bird prizes include $5 coffee gift card awarded to the first 50 individuals to submit entries from across all regions in which Bing operates.
Microsoft states that the “odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received.” The company even states how it will use the data submitted to the sweepstakes.
