Global marketing holding company, Denstu Aegis Network, has acquired the London-based mobile agency, Fetch, to infuse mobile capabilities throughout its businesses. “With consumers increasingly engaging with brands through mobile devices, mobile media has become a critical part of the communication ecosystem and a key driver for business outcomes,” Said Robert Horler, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Europe, Dentsu Aegis Network, in a statement. Horler added, “Growing our digital profile across all capabilities is one of our five strategic priorities and this deal clearly recognises the potential we see in both Fetch and the wider mobile market.” Fetch will continue to operate under its own brand and management is remaining in place. The group will report to Horler, who is charged with overseeing Fetch’s growth and scaling mobile practices throughout the network’s agencies such as Carat, Dentsu, Isobar, Vizeum. “Fetch has a very fast growing agency arm in the US and we are looking forward to adding their unique capabilities within our US operating model and to scaling the business,” said Nigel Morris, Chief Executive Officer of Dentsu Aegis Network Americas & EMEA. In September, Dentsu Aegis scooped up search and content marketing agency Covario, which it is folding it into its iProspect business.
