Challenging LinkedIn and Glassdoor, Facebook has added job listing to its Business section.

The move comes on the heels of Facebook rolling out a feature that allows page administrators to create job postings and receive applications from potential candidates.

The efforts are a no-brainer for Facebook, which has already been moving aggressively into LinkedIn’s territory.

Most notably, after more than a year in beta, the social giant recently announced the official launch of its enterprise Work service. The newly named Workplace service is now available to any and all interested companies and organizations.

Already, about 1,000 organizations around the world use Workplace, according to Facebook. They include multinational companies, such as Danone, Starbucks and Booking.com, international nonprofits such as Oxfam, and regional organizations such as YES Bank in India and the Government Technology Agency of Singapore.

Naturally, Workplace offers all the social networking and messaging features that one would expect from a Facebook product.

Like Facebook, the service also boasts News Feed and the ability to create and share in Groups or via chat, along with Live, Reactions, Search and Trending posts.

In addition, Workplace-only features include a dashboard with analytics and integrations with single sign-on, in addition to identity providers that allow companies to more easily integrate Workplace with their existing IT systems.

Among other new features, Multi-Company Groups are shared spaces that allow employees from different organizations to work together and extend collaboration beyond their company in a safe and secure way.

Facebook also unveiled a Workplace Partner Program — a group of technology and professional service organizations such as Deloitte, which will be expected to work with Facebook to bring Workplace to more businesses across the globe.
