Google Partners With Reputation.com To Strengthen Business Profiles, Engagement
Reviews drive business. In April, Google My Business launched a feature helping businesses showcase positive reviews by automatically suggesting those with four or five stars they might want to share.
The feature gave them the option to review, select and edit the post before publishing it.
Now Reputation.com has integrated Google My Business services into its own suite of cloud-based enterprise reputation management services for reviews and customer-experience rankings that impact search results.
The partnership, announced Thursday, supports a series of capabilities — business listings, reviews, social media and surveys — on the same platform. It calls out Reputation.com’s Premier Google Partner status, which underscores the company’s ability to meet strict Google standards for expertise and innovation in search and display ads.
Reputation.com, which typically works with larger brands to manage business-profile content, such as reviews and posts, became a featured Google My Business partner early in the program. Its services make it easier to manage locations.
It’s not an exclusive partnership, but the company is one of the first to join the program. Clients include automotive, healthcare and retail companies.
Emi Wayner, strategic partnership development manager at Google My Business, said marketers and business owners will benefit most from this partnership.
The Google Maps Platform integration with the Places API enables businesses to display accurate location information across Google services.
