Here We Go! Early Ideas for Your Holiday Gift List
The winter holidays are upon us soon. I noticed an ad that said the Black Friday Specials (usually reserved for the day after Thanksgiving) were starting on October 31st this year — my heart sank because I didn’t have this list out yet. And don’t worry — all of us here at ReadWrite are trying out products that we will report on, so watch for new lists to come out soon.
Last year I was asked to review a few items that were not so expensive and to think of and include some “everyday items.”
- Eli & Elm Pillows
1. Eli & Elm Pillows
I want a good night’s sleep! Finally finishing the book, Why We Sleep, I’ve realized that I’ve spent a lifetime instilling bad sleep habits that will take a lot of work to get out of. I’ve spent a fortune on pillows this year trying to find one I love. I think this Eli & Elm pillow is the one!
You will notice that they have a wonderful selection of sheets and other bedroom accouterments.
- SUPERiO BRAND
2. Superio Cleaning and Organization
I love this brand and all of the items that you can’t live without. From decorative doormats to snow removal equipment — each item is chosen with care. I’m really loving The Ribbed Collection of classy, contemporary design. Many a selection for bins, hampers, and desktops storage.
- TheralICE RX
3. TheralICE RX
Have you been naughty or nice? How about, have you been a pain? TheralICE has pain remedies that are ones that you haven’t tried or seen before — but ones that you or your loved one needs.
- Bearback dry brush
4. BEARBACK DRY BRUSH FOR BACK & BODY
The ancient art of dry brushing is a five-minute ritual that can help rejuvenate your health and transform your day. It energizes and stimulates your circulation.
- Bearback bamboo scratcher
5. BEARBACK DELUXE BAMBOO SCRATCHER (2-PACK)
I know — I’ve been looking for these for quite a while and want to get one for everyone on my list. One of these would be great for office peeps and stocking stuffers. At the great offered price, you can keep a couple of these backscratchers on hand for last-minute gifts.
- 120W Solar Panel
6. 120W Solar Panel for Power Station
This is an endless green solar power supply. When you hop on the site you can see how small these panels are. Waterproof, Durable & Long-Lasting Lifespan. These solar panels are like your own personal power station that you can even take with you. Great for RVs Camping and Blackouts.
- 1021Wh Solar Generator
7. Portable Power Station,1021Wh Solar Generator
After all of the COVID and then horrendous storms and war stuff in Ukraine — I’m down for some emergency items. This Solar Generator is my next purchase. A before-holiday gift to myself and one for my parents.
- RYSE SMART SHADES
8. RYSE — Upgrade your existing window shades
You will want to hop on the RYSE site and see how incredible this automated system is. You can open or shut your blinds lying in your bed — from your phone. Simple install that you can do yourself, making your blinds auto open or close. The site has many great reviews and viewing options to decide how you will use your RYSE (Rise) Smart Shade system.
- PULL START FIRE
9. PULL START FIRE
We’ve all been there. Picking up logs and branches off the ground — they’re wet, freshly cut, or even frozen. It surely wasn’t windy five minutes ago — but will the wax brick actually stay lit this time? Pull Start Fire takes the chore out of starting a fire, inside or out.
- Puffer Hug
10. Puffer Hug (Adult Size Unisex)
Puffer Hug is featured on Oprah Daily’s &O Quarterly’s O-List as a top pick of the year. A fleece-lined wrap with deep pockets for essentials is a thoughtful gift, perfect for getting comfy at the home, office, or outdoor events. Great for travel.
- Specs Banana Phone
- Banana Phone
11. BANANA PHONE — My favorite
Too funny for words. Inexpensive and hilarious. It has a Bluetooth speaker to play your favorite tunes out of a banana. Yes — you saw this on Shark Tank. Their tagline is Talk More, Smile More, Save Gorillas. Great fun gift!
