Ingenu has debuted its Smarter City program, offering a ready-to-use, beginning-to-end smart city platform that is based on the firm’s patented RPMA (Random Phase Multiple Access) communication technology and innovations from its various partners.

The program will give access to municipal applications, offering solutions for the best deployment of smart parking, water and electricity monitoring, street lighting and proactive infrastructure management, along with environmental observation.

Ingenu has partnered with the best solutions providers in order to support the Smarter City program infrastructure. Every company has serious IoT industry knowledge and offers a strong set of features to support the program.

These partners include PTC, which offers the PTC ThingWorx platform, which is an enterprise-ready technology platform that helps innovators to accelerate the development and deployment of smart, connected solutions for the IoT.  Also in the lineup, is Libelium, the creator and manufacturer of hardware and software development kits for wireless sensor networks that enable integration of trustworthy IoT and Smart City devices, with minimum time to market.

“The Smarter City program will offer governments and municipalities a simple, reliable and cost-effective IoT network based on RPMA, while immediately delivering functionality and services for a host of smart city applications,” said John Horn, CEO of Ingenu. “Ingenu has a history of success with smart city deployments and these partners will further enhance the capabilities that we can offer to the market.”

Ingenu gives cities access

Cities can quickly gain access to solutions that would normally provide a double digit return on investment during the first year of deployment, through the Smarter City program.  Furthermore, the program offers turnkey applications that are designed to support long-term smart city growth plans.

The reach of the RPMA network is rapidly increasing as Ingenu plows forward with its build out of the Machine Network in the U.S., and further enlarge its Global Licensing Strategy across the world. Ingenu’s giant partner ecosystem also offers RPMA-enabled devices and software on the network to monitor and manage applications from waste management to agriculture.
