The report also includes some charts that confirm a TDP of 140W for all Skylake-X chips and 112W for the Kaby Lake-X chip. The entire series will be marketed as the Core i7-7000 series processors and will be utilizing the LGA 2066 socket.
Socket R4 is what LGA 2066 socket of HEDT Basin Falls platform will be called. The Skylake-X will have up to 44 PCIe 3.0 lanes, while the Kaby Lake-X will have up to 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes.
For the memory support, the Skylake-X will have quad channel DDR4 memory up to 2667 MHz in 1DPC mode while it would be 2400 MHz in 2DPC mode. On the other hand, Kaby Lake-X will only have dual channel DDR4 memory.
