The time is flying by fast, and Apple is testing iOS 9.3.3 right now. The second beta was released a few days back, and the final version will be released to the public by the end of this month. The latest news is that iOS 9.3.1 is not being signed anymore, so you can’t downgrade from iOS 9.3.2. The current stable version is iOS 9.3.2, and users have been expecting an iOS 9.3.2/iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak release this month.

However, in a very comprehensive report a couple of days back, we already told you that there are very low chances of an iOS 9.3 jailbreak being released. A Neurogadget report says that the iOS jailbreak scenario has dried up pretty much, and people have already started losing hope. The last jailbreak release was for iOS 9.1 in March, and we haven’t seen anymore developments since then. Even Pangu has been absent and hasn’t made any comments on the matter, so it is possible that we might not get an iOS 9.3 jailbreak ever.

ValueWalk confirmed that currently there is no jailbreak for iOS 9.2, iOS 9.2.1, iOS 9.3, iOS 9.3.1, and iOS 9.3.2. The GSMagic Team rose to popularity last week as it was claiming to release an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak soon. However, it turned out to be fake and was just a gimmick to get fame. Many fake jailbreak teams like Taiyi and 3K Jailbreak have been seen online, while the trusted ones are nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, a report by EcumenicalNews suggests that we should stop hoping for an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak release as iOS 10 is coming soon. Apple is expected to showcase the upcoming iOS 10 at the WWDC that starts tomorrow on 13th June. With the launch of the new OS and the starting of its beta testing, the focus will shift from iOS 9.3.3 to iOS 10, and it is possible that jailbreak teams might shift their focus too.

So yes, instead of an iOS 9.3 jailbreak, jailbreak makers may just decide to move and find loopholes in the new iOS 10 firmware. This directly suggests that if we don’t get a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 by the end of this month, then we may as well wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak.

Update (13th June 2016): GSMagic has updated its Twitter profile description and has now said that they will never release their “Ibykus” (iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak) to the public. They are also not going to accept any follow requests, and people can check their site for more info if they like. Anyway, these are just useless tweets that the team is sending out as we already know that GSMagic is fake and never had any jailbreak.

Meanwhile, an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak has been demonstrated in a YouTube video (given below) and the open source files have been released on GitHub for those developers who would like to use the exploits to come up with a new iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak tool. Even though that’s a good thing, it really isn’t an exciting news as almost everyone has updated to iOS 9.3 at least and there would be very less users left on iOS 9.2.1 if any jailbreak was released for that firmware version. The jailbreak has been labelled as “iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak By Flying JB”.

Update (14th June 2016): According to a new report by 3uTools, Team Pangu has sent out invites to some hackers and researchers for the MOSEC conference. The report suggests that Pangu might unveil its iOS 9.2 jailbreak or iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool at that event. Though that seems highly unlikely, the team has surprised us at unsuspecting times, so anything is possible. Even if no jailbreak is released by the team at the event, we expect Pangu to at least tell us about its current and future plans related to iOS jailbreaking.
