Atlanta-based B2B information services provider and consultant List Partners has acquired New York-based agency search consultancy AAR Partners. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

With the acquisition the companies will merge their respective data intelligence platforms Winmo (List Partners) and Access Confidential (AAR Partners), creating what they believe will be a more compelling business proposition to marketer clients.  According to the firms the move will unify for the first time a prospecting data center and agency search consultancy under one roof. 

The idea, per the firms, is to provide CMOs a better vantage point from which to see — and search for — best-in-class service providers across the entire marketing ecosystem. 

“A shake-up of the very way business solutions are procured by CMOs and their teams is an essential next step for our industry,” stated List Partners CEO Dave Currie. He added that it’s “one that we’ve embraced and look forward to taking the lead on with AAR Partners’ President Lisa Colantuono and her team.”

AAR has recently led agency searches and related projects for firms such as Ancestry.com, ClearChoice Dental Centers, El Pollo Loco, Aruba Tourism Authority and others.
