McDonald’s has added Amazon and Google digital voice assistants for job applicants to use.

The voice-activated application process, called McDonald’s Apply Thru, lets potential employees use Amazon Alexa or Google Home to start their application for a job using their voice.

To start the process, a person would say “Alexa, help me get a job at McDonald’s” or “OK, Google talk to McDonald’s Apply Thru.”

The voice-application process is being made available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Spain to start.

“We must continue to think of creative, and in this case, groundbreaking ways to meet potential job seekers on devices they are already using, like Alexa,” stated McDonald’s executive vice president and chief people officer David Fairhurst.
