NetSuite Expands Omnichannel Commerce Platform With Bronto software Acquisition
$200 million deal announced Thursday, expected to close in Q2 this year.
NetSuite has introduced a $200 million deal to acquire Bronto software. The acquisition is predicted to shut within the 2nd quarter of this year, pending regulatory approval.
The deal will combine NetSuite’s SuiteCommerce omnichannel commerce platform with Bronto’s commerce marketing automation platform, which counts Armani trade, Timex and Trek Bikes amongst its clients. NetSuite says its SuiteCommerce platform is utilized by greater than 3,000 brands to control strategies throughout level-of-sale, e-commerce and phone facilities.
NetSuite CEO Zack Nelson explained the deal as follows within the company’s announcement:
“just as consumers demand seamless move-channel shopping experiences, they more and more are expecting corporations to communicate persistently via all of their digital experiences – on website, at outlets, in email or through social or cell. by means of combining the two corporations’ offerings and expertise, we can help retailers deliver relevant and constant digital commerce experiences all over the buyer experience.”
NetSuite pronounced a Q1 loss Thursday of $22.7 million, however its adjusted cash of eleven cents per share had been better than the 5 cents that analysts expected.
