Ubisoft Reveals Nintendo Switch Lineup

Steep, Just Dance 2017, and Rayman Legends Definitive Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.. These three games are part of the initial lineup that Ubisoft will be bringing to Nintendo’s new console, but there is more in store. In the words of Xavier Poix, Ubisoft managing director, French Studios: “These three games are just the beginning. We will share more about other exciting projects for the Nintendo Switch at a later date.”

For now, Just Dance 2017 will be the first Ubisoft game on the new console, and it’s scheduled to arrive at launch. As an added launch bonus, an exclusive track for Nintendo Switch owners (“How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples) will be available via Just Dance Unlimited, the subscription streaming service with a catalog of over 200 songs. Players will also get three months of free access to the service on Nintendo Switch.

Rayman is no stranger to Nintendo consoles, and in Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies are bringing their ebullient brand of platforming fun to Switch with all of the game’s traditional features, like Kung Foot, and some new surprises. For a different kind of adventure, Steep will offer up the open world of the Alps for skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and paragliding. With a broad array of challenges, the ability to share your runs with players around the world, and a free Alaska update coming later this year, there will be plenty of mountain-sports action on the Nintendo Switch.
