OUKITEL K5000 with Premium Design Will Be Up for Pre-Orders from October 23rd

Now that most of the top tier smartphones have the elongated screens with thin bezels, the brands are trying to bring those features to the lower priced phones. OUKITEL is one such company that is coming with a Galaxy S8-like design without making the phone available at a hefty price. The company has now revealed that OUKITEL K5000 will be available for pre-orders next week itself.

OUKITEL has ensured to launch the product with best in class design and built quality and the K5000 will seem nothing short of a flagship. The display is what catches the most attention with its extremely thin bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio, in line with the current trend. Both the front and the back are covered with glass to give a premium feel to the user.

Talking about the display, the company has included a 5.7-inch HD+ display that has a resolution of 1440 x 720. What powers the device is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor that is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company has included a microSD card slot that can take cards up to 128GB, but the slot is a hybrid one.

We did a report about the OUKITEL K5000 when it was first announced but its full details were only revealed now. The company has included a 13MP camera on the back of the phone with Sony sensor, while the front-facing camera is of 16MP. The fingerprint scanner sits right below the primary camera, where it should ideally be.

OUKITEL has retained the 3.5mm headphone jack and has included a USB Type-c port for charging and data syncing. What’s interesting is the battery capacity of the phone, which is rated to be 5000mAh. There should be no issue using the device for a couple of days on a single charge.

The company has revealed that the K5000 will be sold for $159.99 via its variety of sales channels. The phone will be up for pre-orders starting October 23 and those who pre-book the device will get special discounts and offers. Stay tuned for updates on the same.
