Rainbow Six Siege – Velvet Shell DLC Live Demo Announced

Year 2 of Rainbow Six Siege is coming on fast, and a live demo for the first new DLC of the season, Operation Velvet Shell, will be taking place during the upcoming Six Invitational – an Xbox One and PC tournament featuring top Siege players from around the world competing for a $ 200,000 prize pool. The tournament kicks off on Friday, February 3 at 10 am EST with the quarterfinals, and continues through the grand finals on Sunday, February 5. Check out the full weekend schedule (all times EST):

One of the most anticipated parts of the weekend is sure to be the teaser panels for Operation Velvet Shell, where information about the new operators and new map will be revealed. The Six Invitational will also include panels to discuss the past and the future of Siege, as well as Q&As addressing current Rainbow Six Siege topics. If you’re going to be in Montreal during the tournament weekend, you can purchase tickets to the event right here.
