SuperData, the market intelligence firm, has recently revealed that GTA Online is earning more on PS4 than Xbox One.

GTA Online Is Earning More On PS4 Than Xbox One

This comes directly from Twitter where the official account of SuperData posted a tweet claiming that GTA Online is earning twice as much on PS4 than on Xbox One. However, the company only shared a tweet regarding this. No major details were provided by them.

We currently don’t have an actual break down of the sales, but we are aware of the fact that Grand Theft Auto V has shipped more than 65 million copies across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 world-wide. The CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick some time ago stated that both Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online have exceeded their expectations in every quarter since they were released. He further added that GTA V has also been the most successful title on PS4 and Xbox One.

Grand Theft Auto V was released on 17 September, 2013 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) on the other hand, was released on October 1, 2013, that is two weeks after Grand Theft Auto V was released. The reason behind the popularity of GTA Online is the fact that Rockstar Games has kept releasing new stuff for it through various free updates. The developers also stated that a lot more of these free updates are on their way along with some other exciting new future projects.

Take-Two some time ago revealed that they never planned to make GTA Online a permanent service.
