SA parliament, social media erupts as mobile phone sign jammed, EFF evicted

South Africa’s parliament erupted into refrains of “bring again the sign” within the lead as much as President Jacob Zuma’s State of the Nation address these days.

the mantra rose up amongst opposition MPs because it emerged that a cellular phone jamming tool used to be getting used within the parliamentary district.

This used to be the first time such technology had been used in the greater than 20 years when you consider that South Africa held its first fully democratic elections.

The phrase #BringBackTheSignal used to be, for a while, the highest trending phrase around the world.
