Shark Tank: Wink Frozen Desserts Not Well-Received By Sharks, Leaves Without Deal
November 6, 2015
First into the tank is Wink Frozen Desserts seeking $ 300,000 for 15 percent equity.
Wink is a “guilt-free” dessert that is dairy free and gluten free. Flavors include strawberry cheesecake, vanilla bean, cake batter, peanut butter & jelly and more.
It is, however, not received well by the sharks. Robert Herjavec says it’s “in the middle.” They have sold $ 530,000 over the past three years.

Saying he was a “chubby kid in school,” and having been diagnosed with celiac disease, he wanted to create a new kind of healthy dessert.
Barbara Corcoran did not like the taste either and says that she does not like the timing of their pitch. She goes out. Mark Cuban, who is lactose intolerant, does not like the product either and goes out.
Because he does not like it either, Herjavec goes out as well. Lori Greiner likes the calorie count but could not get past the taste either. She too goes out.
If Robert didn’t “love” your product, you know it was bad. #SharkTank

Kevin O’Leary, packing on the letdown, says that their product is taste free, and goes out.
