Instagram this week added a scheduling feature that Sprout Social will support by allowing brands and their agency partners to share single-image Instagram posts directly on their feeds.
Patrick Cuttica, director of product marketing at Sprout Social, believes it’s been one of the most-requested features for the past several years.
“Instagram has now opened up beta access to their Content Publishing API, allowing all Sprout users to post images directly to their feeds,” Cuttica wrote in a post. “Although the beta is currently confined to single image posting, videos and multiple images can still be shared on your feed or via Stories using Sprout’s existing Instagram Scheduling workflow.”
As a member of the Instagram Partner Program for Community Management, Sprout Social collaborates with teams from Facebook and Instagram to relay the community’s feedback, so they can build out what members believe are the best solutions.
More than 20,000 brands and agencies rely on Sprout to run their social programs.
