On the design development she’s keen to observe in 2015:
i’m really fascinated by synthetic biology and biodesign. i’ve been obsessed with it for a while, ever on account that I was once making ready the exhibition Design and the Elastic mind, which used to be all about design and science working hand in hand.
On probably the most absurd object she needs to obtain for MoMA:
i will be able to inform you about an object that I need to accumulate even supposing it is too giant. Some folks suppose it will be absurd. a 747. I don’t need to have it here physically, i need it to keep on flying, nonetheless used by an airline. it will be a far flung acquisition.
Antonelli made waves when she brought video video games into MoMA’s permanent assortment. Her favourite recreation:
it is Tempest. I love it as a result of it’s performed with simple vector photos and yet it is so amazingly complex and expressive.

in the documentary Objectified, Antonelli mentions she thinks that one day, designers will serve as tools for coverage makers, functioning in society almost like philosophers of old. How close are we to getting there?
just (March 07, 2015) I completed a sci-fi short story that paints an international by which designers rule. that is within the 2060s. in the period in-between, we are getting there, little by little.
