Twitter Will elevate DM persona restrict From a hundred and forty To 10,000

manufacturers that use Twitter for customer service must benefit from the extra room for private messages, which is coming in July.

Twitter will not restrict direct messages to 140 characters.

beginning in July, the maximum size of DMs — Twitter’s private messaging function — will likely be boosted to 10,000 characters. the company announced the change in a submit in its developers forum and a tweet via DM product manager Sachin Agarwal:

Public tweets — and tweets from personal bills — will continue to be restricted to the one hundred forty-persona same old.

No exact date was once introduced for next month’s switchover, which must be a welcome exchange for brands that use Twitter as a customer support tool. currently, the back-and-forth dialogue between customer and trade by the use of DM is often cumbersome, requiring people to separate their dialog right into a sequence of messages. After the exchange, people could have a variety of house to give an explanation for their concerns.
