Exclaimer Group, an email signature firm based in the U.K., has acquired Periodic, a calendaring and appointment scheduling firm headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana.

Terms were not disclosed, but the purchase will accelerate Exclaimer Group’s expansion into the U.S., the firm says.

The purchase will allow clients to “to further optimize the revenue opportunities available in their email signatures by driving booked meetings from every email they send,” says Marco Costa, CEO of Exclaimer.

Periodic’s SaaS platform will also allow brands to apply links across all corporate email through the service-side deployment of signature templates, the firm says.

In addition, they can book reschedule, cancel, and adjust appointments from within corporate email signatures, and tailor appointment links to accommodate a variety of customers while maintaining consistent branding, it adds.

The Periodic founder adds that by integrating its booking platform with Exclaimer’s email and survey management tools, the firms will create a “platform for strengthening relationships between companies and their customers and employees.”

Exclaimer expects to add jobs in Indiana, according to a local report. The firm has regional offices worldwide.

The company provides email signature tools for Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Google Workplace (formerly G Suite), and Microsoft Exchange. It says its products are used by over 45,000 customers in 150+ countries and that some clients hold licenses for over 300,000 users.
