The Voice Season 12 Top 8 Live performances will begin on May 15 on NBC network. The excitement of fans is hyped as their favorite contestants battle it out in the live semifinals. Now, with only one contestant left in the Team Adam, will Jesse Larson manage to reach the finals?

What Happened On May 9?

Last week (May-8, 9) saw the elimination of contestant Mark Isaiah and Lilli Passero from Team Adam. They both alongside Vanessa Ferguson from Team Alicia were pushed to the bottom three. All three gave their best to get the Instant Save vote. But, it Ferguson, that received maximum votes and hence reached the semifinals of The Voice Season 12.

Team Adam contestants, Lilli Passero sang “Stormy Weather” by Etta James, while Mark Isaiah sang Justin Biber’s song “Sorry”. On the other hand, Team Alicia contestant Vanessa Ferguson, sang “For Once In My Life” by Stevie Wonder to get saved from the bottom three.

Who Will Reach The Voice Season 12 Finals?

In the live semifinals, three contestants with the majority votes will manage to reach the finals. And, two contestants with the least amount of votes will be eliminated live. The remaining three will battle it out in the bottom three and only one contestant will win.  In this way, total four contestants will reach the finale.

Can Jesse Larson Make It Top 4?

Looking back at the performance of Larson in Season 12, Gold Derby says when he performed on April 24 to reach the Top 12 “Make You Feel My Love,” his coach Adam Levine was very happy. This is where Larson could perform without his guitar.

The website reports that even his Top 10 performance of “Jungle Love” has been appreciated by his coach. But it will be interesting to watch whether his Top 8 performance will sail him to the finals? Speculations are rife that perhaps he will make it to the Top 4 as he is the only contestant left in Team Adam. But these are live semifinals and anything can happen.

If Larson is voted out, the journey of him and his coach ends on The Voice Season 12. So far, Team Adam has won three times. If Larson manages to engage the audience, with his singing and guitar skills, there is a possibility of him reaching the finale.
