Games With Gold April 2017

The Games with Gold April 2017 lineup saw two new games taking place of Evolve: ultimate Edition, and Darksiders. Microsoft Adds up two new Xbox One and Xbox 360 games to the Games with Gold program. It allows the fans to have free access to a number of games that are part of the Games with Gold program.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations were reported to become part of the Games with Gold program. On 16th April both of these games became part of the Games with Gold April 2017 collections.

The games that were up for rotation are Evolve Ultimate Edition, and Darksiders. They were to change places with The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. The Games with Gold April 2017 lineup was recently revealed and both of these games are now part of it (Assassin’s Creed: Revelation and The Walking Dead: Season 2).

Last Week, Microsoft had plans to announce the Games with Gold May 2017. However, Microsoft still hasn’t revealed it. Hopefully, Microsoft will reveal the Games with Gold for May 2017 this week. Following is the full Games with Gold lineup for the month of April 2017.

  • Ryse: Son of Rome: Available April 1-30 on Xbox One
  • The Walking Dead: Season 2: Available April 16-May 15 on Xbox One
  • Darksiders: Available April 1-15 on Xbox 360 & Xbox One
  • Assassin’s Creed Revelations: Available April 16-30 on Xbox 360 & Xbox One

Xbox One Backward Compatibility Update

Another big news of the past week includes the addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in the backward Compatible games list. The Xbox One Backward Compatibility games list was boosted with the remarkable game. Larry Hyrb from Xbox made the announcement on Twitter while quoting a follow-up from the official Xbox website.

“The Xbox 360 hits keep coming thanks to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. And today we’ve got one of the biggest hits of all. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now playable on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility.

This blockbuster joins more than 350 Xbox 360 classics available on Xbox One. We’re thrilled with the continued excitement for the program and ongoing engagement with our fans, who have played more than 360 million hours of Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.”

With the inclusion of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in the Backward Compatible games list, it also became part of the Xbox Spring Sale for 2017. So the fans will now be able to buy the game at half the original price. For all the Gold members, the game became available with sixty percent price discount.

GTA 5 Online New Content Reveal

A  big news of the past week involves the popular GTA 5 Online video game. Rockstar, the developer for GTA 5 Online revealed their plans to release new content for the game. Rockstar said that the players should expect a massive Summer DLC for the game that will be offering new content for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. However, Rockstar hasn’t yet revealed the Summer DLC released dates but they have provided some info on the new content.

According to Rockstar’s hints, the new Summer DLC could bring the new Gun Runner expansion to the game. The Gun Runner expansion will offer new missions and some new weaponized vehicles in the game. Furthermore, the reveals also suggest that Rockstar will not be cutting the weekly updates announced in February 2017.

The small weekly GTA 5 Online updates added tons of new content to the game. As part of the weekly updates, vehicles such as Turismo and Infurnus were added to the game. In addition, some new Adversary modes also made way to the game. As we know by the recently revealed info, Rockstar is going to release some more weekly updates that are expected to bring more new content such as new vehicles and some adversary modes. As part of the small weekly updates, a new adversary mode named as Land Grab was also announced.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Xbox One Release Date And Trailer Reveal

Star Wars battlefront 2 also made waves this past week. Star Wars battlefront trailer and release date were recently revealed at the Star Wars Celebrations. The game is set to land on Xbox One on November 17, 2017.  So, all the battlefront 2 fans get ready to grab your copy of the game when it’s launched globally.
