Yext Releases Search, Social, Publisher Features To All As 2022 Comes To A Close
As 2022 comes to a close, Yext, which built a reputation on answering questions in a variety of search services, announced Friday the general availability of Listings Verifier and other features that support the company’s Answers Platform.
Listings Verifier gives companies visibility into the accuracy of their listings, Marketers can measure the listings in Report Builder. The metric, which is defined as the percentage of fields with accurate data on listings, can be sorted by Entity, Time, Field, and Publisher.
For example, a business could use Report Builder to understand the accuracy of each field for a specific location. This is done by sorting by field and filtering by entity to identify specific field values that may need attention.
Twitter and Instagram have been added to the Yext Publisher Network to give customers of Yext Listings the ability to promote new content, deliver updates, and drive user engagement across the social-media platforms.
In addition, the Equinox algorithm update gives administrators the ability to Test Search Enhancements, Query Suggestions 2.0, and make faster model deployments.
This update also makes basic functions for Yext Search available in more than 240 languages. Advanced features like Clustering are now available in Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.
The year-end release also includes changes to Notifications, New Connectors, Point-in-time Backups, and Equinox Algorithm Update.
While some updates improve the overall experience for users and administrations, others such as Publishers and Connectors demonstrate the company’s commitment to offering a composable, extensible platform that integrates with a customer’s existing technology stack.
This announcement part of a series of updates company developers have been working on to close out the year. It represents a major push to help companies adapt offerings and how each delivers services in person and online.
Consumers have come to expect instant answers and information all the time, and achieving that will continue as a focus for Yext in 2023.
